Serán adds the IKA CD-100 conical vacuum dryer to its expanding fleet of spray drying process equipment
The recently installed IKA CD-100 agitated bed conical vacuum dryer extends Serán's spray-dried dispersion (SDD) secondary drying capabilities to ~ 40 kilograms per batch. The dryer's design ensures efficient heat and mass transfer through the powder bed, minimizing drying time and reducing the required process temperature. Serán has paired the IKA CD-100 with its custom-built SD-180 spray dryer, further enabling Serán's manufacture and delivery of large-scale clinical supplies to its customers.
