Welcome Lucy Zhao, PhD – Associate Director of Quality Control
Serán BioScience is pleased to announce the addition of Lucy Zhao, PhD, as our new Associate Director of Quality Control. Lucy brings more than two decades of experience in analytical chemistry, method development, and drug development to our growing team.
In her new role, Lucy will provide strategic and technical leadership to our Analytical Development team, supporting method development, qualification, validation, and transfer. Her deep expertise in chromatography and analytical method development, paired with her collaborative leadership style, will help strengthen our commitment to excellence in Quality Control across the organization.
Prior to joining Serán, Lucy held positions at major pharmaceutical companies including Sanofi, Bayer, and Boehringer Ingelheim. She earned her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Seton Hall University.
As Associate Director, Lucy will play a critical role in supervising our method qualification team, advising on technical problem-solving, and ensuring that our QC operations exceed industry standards and client expectations. Her proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and her dedication to scientific rigor will be instrumental as Serán continues to expand its services.
